Welcome Newcomers to Coterie Connections!
Coterie Connections is open get togethers for new and returning Coterie friends to connect and find out more about what is happening in the Coterie community! We welcome anyone in Coterie and encourage members to bring a friend or newcomers to Rolla. No formal topics, just friendly conversations! Look for the Connections meeting time and place each month in the Coterie newsletter email and on the Coterie members Facebook page. Our next Connections gathering on Thursday, April 20th at 5:00 p.m. at Public House – St. James, MO. We hope to see you there!

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, some interest group meeting times and locations may change for the safety of our members. Therefore, we encourage members to contact the group leaders to confirm all meetings before attending.
Take a day trip to interesting destinations within 150 miles of Rolla. Members take turns organizing and driving to these planned trips. Lunch is a delight.

If you enjoy hiking outdoors, then this is the group for you! First hikes coming up are scheduled for Bray Open Space and Meramec Springs Park Leatherbritches Trail. Please email or call the group leader if you are interested in joining to get connected to the group and for further details.
Let’s get together and enjoy our beautiful rivers! Trips will be offered in late spring, summer, and early fall.
Are you working on a needlework project or starting a new one? You are invited to join our group, which meets the third Tuesday of every month at 2:00 pm at Uniquely Yours Knitting and Quilting, 404 Highway 72. All are welcome!
Meet with other mothers and infants, toddlers and preschoolers for play, fun, and snacks in members’ homes, local parks, and local swimming pools. Look for emails or contact Callie Perry for variable meeting times, depending on the particular activity.
Come volunteer with us! Opportunities for volunteering around the community will be emailed to members. We can go as a group or as individuals depending on interest and schedules. If this is a passion of yours and you have ideas, please join us in spreading our talents and good will throughout the community!
Get in shape and join us for fun, burning calories, and doing what we do best – talking! No eating involved. If you are interested in joining please contact Christine Duvernell for specific meeting times.
This club meets on 3rd Tuesday afternoons at 1pm in individual homes. Book selection, both fiction and non-fiction, is according to group interest and is chosen in September for the year.
Closed to new members. This club meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 1:00 pm. Members take turns hosting. Book selection is according to group interest (fiction and nonfiction) and chosen in September for the year.

Closed to new members. This book club meets the last Thursday of the month. The focus is on science fiction and members read short stories or novels, then come together to watch the movie based on the written word.
This group meets for lunch and fellowship at various restaurants around town – Meets 1st Wednesday of the month. Contact group leaders below for more details and specific time.
Meets monthly for a variety of experiences. Eating out at a restaurant, taking a cooking class, or meeting at someone’s home for a recipe they’d like to try or share. Contact for specific meeting dates and times.

Introducing the updated Wine and Spirits group. Everyone is welcome to join fellow wine and spirits enthusiast. We are expanding the scope to include Bourbon, Scotch, and other fine liquors for those with the desire to know more about and try new beverages. You do not have to be an expert. Our goal is to bring people together who share interests and the desire to learn. We will try to schedule at least one tasting event per month.
Join the Earlybird Bowling League at Coachlite Lanes at 9:00 am on Wednesday mornings for some fun and exercise. Beginners are welcome, and we always need subs.
Play Coterie Bridge on the first and third Tuesday of the month or Duplicate Bridge on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at Oak Pointe from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. If one would like to have lunch, soup and salad is provided at a cost of $7.00, meeting at noon.
If you like to play games or get together for food and fun, join this group. Meets monthly on Friday evenings at 6:00 pm at members’ homes for a carry in meal and to play a variety of card and board games. Couples and singles are welcome.
Mah Jong is a tile-based game that originated in China during the Qing dynasty. It is similar to card games with suits and wild cards. Usually played with 4 players and has a unique dealing system. Meets weekly.
